Master Planner

Upwing Energy is searching for an experienced Material Planner & Scheduler in support of building downhole compressor systems for the oil and gas industry in a LRIP (Low-Rate Initial Production) environment. This role is responsible for managing demand requests to reduce lead times for orders and ensuring adequate spare part availability whilst minimizing inventory costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain the Master Production Schedule
  • Accept internal orders and tabulate them on the Order Board
  • Create and maintain forecasts based on the sales pipeline as well as maintaining spare part requirements for the operating fleet including R&D. Drive the S&OP process through purchase approvals.
  • Manage changes in customer orders and implementation of ECRs as dispositioned.
  • Identify schedule risks and take mitigating actions to address them preemptively.
  • Contribution to and compliance with ISO9001.
  • Define and track performance metrics including OTTR and forecast accuracy.

Skills, Experience, Education, and Abilities:

  • Previous experience as a Master Planner and minimum of 5 years working in Material Resource Planning, including operations producing low-volume high-complexity products in a regulated industry
  • BS in Planning, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experienced with Microsoft business applications.
  • Experienced with one or more ERP systems for material planning functions. Global Shop preferred.
  • Experience working in ISO9001 quality environment.
  • CPIM certification desirable

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Personal protective equipment should be worn in designated shop floor areas.
